:bounce_party: i2eye's 3rd anniversary is fast approaching, and we're busily working on ways to celebrate this wonderful event!! :bounce_party: The following email was sent out to all registered members, but just in case you didn't get it for some reason or you've become a member since it was sent or perhaps you're a guest who is considering registering - it is also being posted here for all to see.

Hello i2eye members,
We wanted to let you know that we are quickly approaching i2eye’s Third Anniversary - on August 29th! We have numerous fun events planned to celebrate this momentous occasion.
In honor of our 3rd anniversary, the following events are planned:
- Participation Contest (Thursday, August 19th – Thursday, September 9th) – members who post on the board each day will receive points for various activities (the top non-staff poster at 11:59 PM board time (CST, GMT-6) each day will receive 100 points for the day, etc.). At the end of the contest, points will be tallied and prizes will be given for the highest scorers. Prizes will be as follows:
1st place:
$25 donated to the charity of your choice from our charity forum
A user bar in your signature indicating you are the winner of the 2010 i2eye 3rd Anniversary Participation Award
Customized signature banner and avatar made by tis*me!
A custom title
2nd place:
$20 donated to the charity of your choice from our charity forum
A custom title
3rd place:
$15 donated to the charity of your choice form our charity forum
A custom title
(If the overall top poster for the contest is someone other than the 1st place winner in the contest, as happened last year, they will receive a bonus prize.)
- Missing Scene/Alternative Scene Writing Challenge (Preview up Thursday, August 12th; takes place from Thursday, August 19th to Thursday, September 9th (tentative), but, depending on the response, we may extend the challenge if members are interested in participating past that date):
Numerous scenarios for missing scenes for both Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye and DOC will be given. Authors can write as many missing scenes as they wish but all must be written in line with the shows (no sudden declarations of love by Jack or Sue and no declarations of love before the season finale for Clint and Nancy and they should be rated G or PG). The scene must be written in a way that does not alter events before or after.
Alternative Scene option - Write a story where one or more i2eye members are placed in a scene of either Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye or DOC and the scene ends differently than what actually occurred on the show as a result of the i2eye member(s). Authors can write as many alternative scenes as they wish but each must have one or more i2eye member in them and the scene should have a different outcome as a result of an i2eye member.
- Caption Contest (Thursday, August 19th – Sunday, September 5th) – contestants are challenged to come up with the best captions for the photos presented. Contestants may enter as many times as they wish. The winners of the winning captions will have their usernames and their caption appear along with the photo either right above or below the marquee of the board for one week.
