Just a little FYI to let you know of a few updates I've made to the board.
As some of you may have noticed - I've done a little reorganization.
I've changed the name of the first category from "i2eye Site Information" to "i2eye's Front Desk".
I have changed the forum named "Welcome Center" to "Welcome, Information, and Commemoration Center".
In addition to the "Introduce Yourself" subforum which allows new members to introduce themselves so we can welcome them to the community, I've also added a new subforum "Absence Report" - where members can let staff and other members know if they have a planned absence from the board - so we don't worry about them when we don't see them for a while. (No personal information please - just an FYI to let us know you won't be around for a while. You can also reply again to your topic when you return, if you want, so we can welcome you back).
"Welcome, Information, and Commemoration Center" will be the place to wish members a 'Happy Birthday', to commemorate other important days/holidays, and to congratulate members on certain achievements such as reaching certain post counts, etc.
I have moved all such topics that were previously in the "General Chat" forum in "Around the Water Cooler" area to this area ("Welcome, Information, and Commemoration Center"). Even though "General Chat" was an appropriate area to have them in - I wanted to have these things in a more prominent area than "General Chat". Of course, it leaves our "General Chat" area a little bare, but - oh, well.... :dunno:
I like this organization better and think it will be better for members.
