The Future of i2eye?The following is a copy of what is contained in the post:

We have recently had many discussions as to the future of i2eye, including the following:
- whether or not we should add new features (Book Club with a Book of the Month; Crafter's Corner with discussions of various crafts - sewing, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, etc.)
- whether or not we should add an i2eye Manual (with Frequently Asked Questions and How to's explaining how to do certain things like adding an image to your signature, quoting, etc. and explanations on things like rankings and member groups, etc.)
- whether or not to change the emphasis to less of a focus on fan fiction (in light of the fact very few people seem to post stories and very few people seem to even be replying to the ones that are posted)
- whether or not we should even continue having writing challenges (since very few people participate by writing, replying, or even voting)
- whether or not to possibly add more/different challenges such as Art Challenges (Fan Art, Photography, Computer Graphics, etc.) and possibly Video Challenges and Recipe Challenges
- whether or not to have more shorter, less 'formal' contests like more Caption Contests (with fewer pictures than the two previous ones), Posting Contests, Member of the Month, Referral Contests, etc.
- whether or not we should eventually consider converting to newer forum software
We would like to know what you, the members, would like to see for the future of i2eye?
Any and all suggestions are welcome and will be considered.
We will not, however, change the basic rules of the board or the goal of the site - which is, as the Staff sees it, to honor and glorify God in the stories and content on the board and our interaction with others. That doesn't mean you have to be a Christian or that you even have to believe in God to be here - we respect all members, regardless of their religious beliefs and ask that members do the same. It also does not mean that all stories have to specifically mention God/Jesus/faith. But it is our mission as Christians to run a family-friendly, Christian-based forum where everyone treats each other with respect and tries to keep the stories as close as possible to the vision of the creators of the shows (specifically Sue Thomas and DOC).
If you have any questions regarding any of this, please don't hesitate to ask.
