Title: Impending Changes for i2eye

i2eye - April 5, 2009 12:54 AM (GMT)
Dear Members of i2eye,

A while ago we asked your opinion on several things regarding the site.
One of the outcomes, both of your input and our own discussions and evaluations, was that we want to shift our focus to more community oriented things.

This does not mean that we won't have any fan fiction or writing challenges anymore, because those will still be an important part of the site, especially since both the shows Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye and DOC will remain our main focus.

What will change then? We will have more community oriented discussions, such as a Book Club, a Crafter's Corner, more Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye discussions, Computer Tips and some other things (see below).

Two important changes you should be aware of:
  • One, we will be reorganizing the forums, to reflect the shift of focus towards community.
  • Two, we will be changing the name of the site from i2eye Fan Fiction to i2eye Fan Forum.
Both these changes take a lot of time and work to implement, and will be an ongoing process for the time ahead of us. We ask you to please be patient with us, as we go about making these changes, to make i2eye an even better place to be.

Of course, if you have any questions, concerns, or experience any problems during this transition time, you can always post in the 'Site Suggestions, Questions, and Feedback' area at the Front Desk, or send a Personal Message to either of the staff members (tis*me!, zeilfanaat).

Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Kind regards,

The i2eye Team

P.S.
To allow you some time to get used to what i2eye will look like, and where you can check where a forum has gone if you miss it, we give you an overview (those in blue are new additions):

Woo hoo! Changes! Could you also add a forum called "Confessions of the domestically challenged". That way I could actually post. These recipe and cooking tips things, well I will let you girls go at it. My cooking tip is "Make sure to get Kraft Mac and Cheese, cause the others don't taste the same." (If I had a maid, she could post in these forums!:))

I am hoping I can post in the"book club" forum. I really love great literature. The Cat in the Hat and The Cat in the Hat Comes Back are two of my favorites that I think would really be worthy of discussion. I have some other great suggestions for deep literature, so if you want, just pm me! :giggling:

Ok, ok, seriously. It looks great. Excited to see all this stuff come together!

:goodjob:

I'm right there with you. My cooking tips would consist of "Let others do the cooking, just follow their directions, or stay out of their way."
